2010 APPLICATION & AUDITION INFORMATION

After a month on the road visiting every corner of the country, the auditions for 2010 AYO programs have concluded. Congratulations to all audition candidates and a huge thank you to our tireless audition panel.
All applicants will be notified by email of their results by Monday 21 September. If you do not receive an email from the AYO by this date, please check it has not been sent to your junk mail inbox, and then call the AYO office on 02 9252 3855. If your email has recently changed, please log in at ayo.com.au to update your contact details.
AYO Scholarship Opportunities in 2010
There will be three Scholarship opportunities available in 2010. Two of these scholarships are made possible by the Colonial Foundation Trust and one by The Accenture Foundation. Each Scholarship will be worth $10,000 cash and will be awarded to outstanding musicians selected for the Australian Youth Orchestra. If you have received an offer for a position in the AYO in 2010 and intend to accept you are eligible to apply. Applications close Friday 27 November 2009.

Financial Assistance
AYO has a generous financial assistance program which offers bursaries to help participants offset registration fees and travel costs associated with attending AYO programs. All applications for financial assistance are means-tested. Applications are due Monday 30 November 2009.

Payment Plans
To assist participants with paying their registration fee/s, the AYO is able to set up a payment plan to allow you to pay an agreed amount weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Please note that you may not be able to attend an AYO program if payment has not been received or a payment plan has not been set up.

2010 PROGRAM OFFERS - IMPORTANT DATES
- First-round offers will be emailed to you on Monday 21 September 2009 - Acceptances are due Friday 16 October 2009.
- Second-round offers will be emailed out on Friday 23 October 2009.
